I put down the camp stove and the container that carried, what I was told was, "white gas" on my left. I pulled the hood of my raincoat further down over my face to keep the light drizzle that had been falling for the last half-hour off of me. So starts the story of my camping trip a few years ago in Canada. I went up to spend some time with a friend that I had not seen in a number of years, and instead rarely saw him, but I did make some new friends instead.
