It has been three weeks since I posted a chapter, the current one is about 90% done. That said people are sending emails asking if the story is being abandoned. No it is not. This is the last story that I will release chapter by chapter. It is planned to be 18 chapters long. So if I get this finished it will be probably be a year before the next story appears.
Also thanks to all the unsung patient people out there who bear with me.
Tried writing in the St. Louis Admerials Club early this morning. Nothing. Then tried club in Charlotte, nothing, now in club in Philly, still nothing. Heck with it going home.
Those who think the Holy Grail has been found in Tenth Grade obviously do not watch Antique Road Show. The makers mark on the bottom of the clay cup is that of Sid Yahweh, a Mesopotamian maker of clay cups which were sold in the market filled with peanut butter, then later used as drinking cups.
They have very little value. His later works where he decorated them with popular cuneiform carton characters, especially the Peter Pan series are of some value but there were so many made they can still be found in roadside stands.
Why the cup in question was buried in a special box we will probably never know. I suspect the author likes to play with people minds on occasion.
Accidently deleted an email before responding. A reader was concerned about a description of casting methods. They referred to the lost wax method which is not used commercially today. What is used is sand casting. This consist of packing sand around a wooden model (sand contained in frame), then removing the model and pouring grey iron etc.into it. Just watched a YouTube video to refresh my memory. I have done quality audits at several foundries. Now back to writing.
I have had several emails about why didn't more people on that flight get food poisoning. Simple. Eggs Benedict only were served in fist class. Coach would have had a cheese omelet or cereal, maybe some fruit. In the late 1960s I did fly on 707s in both coach and first, so this is from actual experience.
I was being kind to you dear readers. I thought about having it through out the entire aircraft. But the thought of the stench and human misery was more than I could stomach.
