This is a short one, a quick Aimee reflection on where she is and how she got here.

Also, in future chapter news -- I have finished the first draft of the Epilogue, and am on track to have all chapters posted by the end of 2025, 21 years after the first chapters were published!

I have nearly completed writing this story and am now editing it. It appears that the final chapter count will be 20, with the 20th chapter serving as an Epilogue.
I'd like to complete this before the end of the year, ahead of some travel in January. I'm going to try to move to a 3x/week posting schedule for PBB — Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Might slip by a day or two here or there -- the holidays are kind of crazy -- but that's my plan.
Thanks to all of you who have voted, commented, and/or emailed me about this story. I love how it's turning out, I love these characters. Two months ago, I would have been pessimistic about my chances of ever finishing this story, but it's much better than it would have been if 2004 Mark had written it!!
Well, we finally got here. A big big turning point in these chapters. Chapter 10 ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, so I didn't want to tease people, which is why 11 is posted as well.
A major turning point in these characters' lives. We'll see what happens next!

Chapters 8-9 of "The Peanut Butter Babysitter" are now posted. I put these two together because chapter 9 is a short one, a journal entry from Aimee reflecting on recent events.
This is the first time in this story we've gotten to see some things from Aimee's point of view. It won't be the last!
