Thank you all for the warm reception you have given my story. I'm rapidly approaching the end of book one. Book two should be available mid-summer.
I've been around a while and I continue to learn lessons. For instance, a long time ago, I learned if I go down to the Big Hole River at dusk in August and tie on a black woolly-worm chances are good that I'll hook a nice brown trout. I cherish that lesson. I learned another lesson here--that there exists a race of beings with powers far beyond the likes of you or I. The power they possess is called the "all-seeing editorial eye." (Frankly, I shudder to think of what they traded to gain this power.) The experience of posting here reminded me that I do not belong in the same room with these Demi-gods. Thanks to Jesus, they have proved to be a generous bunch.

Thanks, everybody for the nice reception you've given my story. I gotta say it's amazing how much a person can learn when one grabs the work by the scruff of the neck and tosses it out the door for real people to read. The lessons have been both pleasant and sometimes more than a little embarrassing- but boy have they been valuable. Thank you.

In my rush to get chapters 19 and 20 posted I allowed a couple of glaring errors. Thanks to a couple of discerning readers for pointing them out. There is no cure for dumb unfortunately

Thanks, everyone for the kind comments. As you can tell up till now I haven't been following any sort of posting schedule. Starting tomorrow I plan to post two chapters every Tuesday and Thursday unless I have a really short chapter then I will post three.

Hi everyone, first off I'd like to thank everyone for the warm reception Keeper is getting. Thanks to those who commented. Some folks have commented on the length of the chapters--fair play--since I am a bit of an under-writer. A lifetime of writing non-fiction will do it to a person. Anyway, as I try to cure myself of the malady, I'm going to change my posting schedule to twice a week so instead of a snack at least you'll get a bit more of a meal. I gotta say that thanks to Mr. Wolf aiding his editing skills the process is much less painful. Dumb mistakes hurt.
