Chapter 9 is now posted.

In Chapter 9 Elise falters. The club, once sacred, fractures under noise and eyes she didn’t invite. Her control slips. Panic blooms.

But Rowan doesn’t flinch.

In the quiet of the safe room, he kneels—not to dominate, but to witness. He washes her hands in lavender water. She lets herself be held. Their love, forged in fire, becomes something gentler: a sanctuary. Not spectacle. Not power. Just presence.

This is how devotion breathes.

Chapter 8: The Witness of The Vale of Shadows published today. Rowan and Elise head back to the club, but this time the tables are turned and he submits.
