The line in Aragonda, “Pleasure me, subcreature!” is a direct take from the first Ghostbusters movie, where Sigourney Weaver tells Bill Murray, “Take me now, subcreature!” I think Bill should have obeyed orders before shooting her up with 300 cc. of Thorazine. Never mind that would be an injection of over a cup of Thorazine!
PS: Vanity, thy name is author. I got my first review on this story. “As I have mentioned in previous reviews, Rollie Lawson is one of my favorite authors. His books are always well developed and interesting. These same traits apply to this book. Here, we are introduced to a new world - Lupina - where partially (or full) nudity is accepted, and sex is not something that is hidden. This book does a great job of introducing this new world, as we follow the experiences of Jonathan Sawbuck, his wife, Korona, and their three children. The world is interesting and, once you accept the premises on which the book is based, you find yourself drawn into it and this family. A good read executed well by an author who has a known track record of well-written stories. Highly recommended.” Wow! Thanks!
Anyway, enjoy!
