Just out of curiosity, I clicked on the "Up for Archival" link this morning, something I seldom do. There is only one story currently listed, Deana John's "Castle in the Sand", which I have seen referenced here frequently. When I looked at it, I saw that the first chapter was posted in January of this year, and the concluding one just a few days ago.
So, what makes a relatively new, very popular, story eligible for archiving? BTW, I haven't read it yet, this is just me being a pest.
IIRC, the author requested it go premier before many readers had had an opportunity to read the last chapter. Lazeez restored it to give people a chance to read it, but is presumably respecting the author's wishes. So if you don't have premier membership, you will have until the archival date to read/download it.

It means it is about to go premium. Actually it is a very old story. It was written almost 30 years ago.
When I've seen this before, it was with stories by authors who are no longer around (which could just mean "retired").
An example would be "Cat5", six stories of his were posted in 2020 and everything else he posted was from around 2005/6. My impression was that someone else (his widow?) had submitted the stories.
Deana Johns had never posted anything here before "Castle in the Sand", there had been several threads in the Forum from people looking for it and the answer was always "AssTr".
