AI Smut Writee

jcourson50 ๐Ÿšซ

I've been looking for an AI solution to help me learn to write dialogue better, but have struggled as the main ones (like Chat GTP) tend to balk at adults content. Yesterday, I came across a site called AI Smit Writer. Does anybody have any experience with it to recommend one way or the other?

I don't have any experience with the one you mention. I do have some experience with https://novelai.net which is completely uncensored. What it is not is free.

If you want to learn to write dialogue better, I'd suggest reading stories by authors that are good at dialogue and paying attention to what they're doing, not eating AI shit.

I will "4th" that motion lol

Reading honestly is the best way. It's pretty crazy how fast you pick up influence and inspiration.

Could you suggest some authors?

Tailweaver, in her last posted story, Tia's Game, unfortunately no longer on the website.

Tasty Little Pop Tart
Robert Heinlein, especially his mid to late work, he wrote a lot of his dialogue in iambic pentameter

Do you want SO writers or general fiction?

The traditional way was to listen to real people having real conversations in real-life situations. Unfortunately real conversations are too full of pauses, repetitions, butting-ins, multiple people speaking at the same time, nervous tics (eg 'Um') etc, and they don't make for good reading.

I reckon your suggestion is sound - if a conversation in a story works for you (which could mean you barely notice it because it's unobtrusive), that's a good style to adopt.

I used to read a lot of Heinlein and didn't exactly like the speaking parts.

I have watched some YouTube, which, honestly, may have made me worse. The gist I received is to listen to how people speak, but don't write that; write something that sounds like that, but isn't, because you writing it, and people talk over each other all the time.

This kind of reminds me of my grade 11 English teacher, every single essay I ever submitted had the comment, Good Effort, Crude Writing Style, which seems good on the surface, but doesn't actually help with improvement.

AI is a tool that people use to generate text. You learn very little from an AI written story. You just need to write and read well-written writing. Taking a class in writing might help you improve your writing skills.
