These are very slim rememberings.

1st Story had something to do with a Grey Mansion or Manor. I think an inheritance and remodeling type story. Definitely not Michael's Mansion or Refusnick's Human Pheonix story. But vaguely similar. My mind is stuck on the Grey being important. Maybe Grey stone?

2nd Story might be an old Asstr story? It's a coming of age story. I think takes place in 70/80s. MC is a boy with a catholic upbringing. Has some kinda supernatural vibe to it as well. The ending really stuck with me as paranormal creepy. Vaguely recall Ghost eyes or a ghost presence in the house as the ending or near the ending of the story. I almost want to call it Growing up Beth or a wolf

Had several stories with building remodeling projects.

No. 1- Life Is Change by Ernest Bywater. M/c is Smokey Grey who inherits 6 commercial buildings in US and restores them.

No. 2- Won't be Growing Up With Beth. That's a story by Artie about a SoCal kid taken in by his sister Beth. He starts working with a wine merchant and travels between LA, France, and Italy. Learns to cook gourmet. Nothing Ghostly.
