Terry Weaver and Lupe Calderón are both outcasts at their swanky prep school. When they are set up by the A-list students in an elaborate April fool's prank, they must cooperate to avoid a nasty fallout, and in the process, they get a true measure of each other. With the help of a rural police chief and her farmer parents, the two young people thwart their classmates' schemes and come out of the predicament smelling like… daffodils?
