A WW2 veteran from Canada is racing at Le Mans in 1956 at the wheel of a Corvette, fulfilling his dream of running the legendary 24-hour race. However, he did something evil during the war and his past comes back to haunt him.
Tom and Darla have been friends for years but he could never see her as anything other than a friend. One night, during a Halloween party, Darla decides to see if she can get him to truly see her, even if he doesn't know it's her.

This story was originally written for a Halloween contest. A man discovers that there is more than meets the eye with himself and his family. He must choose between accepting his family heritage full of the unknown, with a beautiful and mysterious woman or continuing to live his mre familiar mundane life.
