A Seattle Noir Cyber Mysteries Story (5) Deb Riley is on the case again, this time with a dead woman and a house full of computers. Hacking into the computers could start a deadly game when the neighbors, and the dead woman, aren't what they appear to be. This story takes up immediately following "Municipal Blondes". Reading them in order is not necessary, but helpful.
A Linkage Story (3) The Waiter's Tale sheds light on the life of the Chevalier and introduces characters pivotal to the story arc(!). The story contains a lot of travel and fornication, although much of the latter is noises off so to speak. There are also gobbets of history, music, and film talk. Threading through the tale is what could be considered a coming of age story. Judge for yourselves, although the first two stories in the Linkage series (both very short) will need to be read to make sense of this story.
A Make the Cut Story (6) Book 4 -

A story of inter-racial love in the Old South. Be warned that the language is based on that of the time. It may not always be politically correct by modern standards.
This is a romance. If you want a stroke story, download something else.

A Happy Harry Story (6) Part of the John Carter universe
For every beautiful person there is an ugly one. Shadow is ugly, real ugly. Men flinch, women scream, and children have nightmares after meeting him. Happy Harry doesn't believe that ugly is necessarily a life sentence to loneliness.
The plot has many surprises. I don't want to reveal too much. Backscatter is a near term futuristic story, starting in Bell County Texas in the 2040's. It's a story of epic adventure, lots of hard SF, and it starts with something as simple as a grocery shopping list.
A Blues Story Bobby Washington got hit by a car when he was fifteen, leaving him in a coma that lasted three years. When he did wake up he had epilepsy and needed to get a GED so an in-home physical therapist/caregiver was needed. Mai Li MacIntosh was born in Vietnam but raised in the U.S. Her very first job as a physical therapist was to rehab Bobby Washington's wasted body. It was supposed to be a three to six month job. She wasn't supposed to fall in love with her patient. But she did.
