Unseen eyes have been on me for weeks—cold, calculating, belonging to a man who's twisted my every move into his obsession. He's mapped me like prey: the way I jog these paths, sweat glistening on my skin; the library corner where I hunch over notes, oblivious; the solo treks home where my guard slips.

I was returning home from college after my first year. Originally I as going to stay on campus; however, decided to spend the summer with family. I found out on the way home my parent's had scheduled a trip believing I would be gone. So they did what all parent's do.. Volunteered me to check in on the boy next door. His parent's were away as well on a cruise. What I didn't know is that he had plans for me. Dark.. he wanted to try things he'd found on the dark web.
