I wanted to post this as I've had a number of inquiries about the future of PBG and general plans going forward. For the moment, PBG is on an extended hiatus. It's not ideal, but I have a lot going on right now.
I'm dealing with two incredible and progressive disease's that are a consat draw on my energy and motivatiom. I hope this will improve as I'm currently taking part in a medical trial for one, but this alone means I have to spend 3 days every other week in London which is a massive draw on my limited energy.
In addition, I was also recently diagnosed with skin cancer. While it should be a fairly simple operation to remove it and reduce the scarring with a skin graft, it's still causing some anxiety and not really leaving me in the right head space to write, in particular for a longer story like PBG.
In the short gaps I do feel semi normal, I'm focusing on shorters stories like Grace & Glory part 1&2, and other previously unfinished works. These shorter pieces keep me writing and don't require the same intensity of work as a longer piece like PBG.
Just to clarify, I DO intend to finish it. It's just at this point in my life, it's not in the cards.
