An Ark Story Part 1 described preparing the Ark to shelter 1.4 million people from the meteoroids and virus that would kill 95% of Earth's population. Part 2 describes the Arkians' preparation to return to the surface, how they deal with the people who were left on the surface, and their struggles to create a new society. The story covers the Arkians' first year on the surface. Reading Part 1 first is strongly suggested. The story's real action begins around Chapter 4.
