A The Engineer Story George narrates a little more and then Susan decides she doesn't want to eat her supper off Frankie. Horace has a potentially killer new contraption, there is a nearly new pony, a new track and new drivers. A new girl appears, ponies find relief. A pony is bred, but Susan objects to a second and puts her skills to good use, but nevertheless there is one. And then it largely goes tits up.

Can they ever declare a truce or will there be 'Pistols for Two' with tragic results? There is not much sex and the story codes are largely incidental. An odd sort of drama/romance with a touch of humor.
