A Nexus Story
This is the introduction piece for a series to come called Nexus Interludes. It will be a series of short stories that occur shortly after Nexus Evolution but are meant to be stand-alone. The stories can be read in any order. Of course, reading the entire Nexus series first would give you a fuller frame of reference. I intend these to be fun and a little more spicy than I usually write, but I also want to add detail to the Nexus Universe. Stand by for more!

Jeff and Julie, 17-year-old highschoolers, are transported back to Earth, circa 250 MILLION BC! This was the time of giant insects and long before dinosaurs. This is the story of their struggle for survival against 10-foot scorpions and 14-foot praying mantises. These insects really existed; this is no fantasy! Join them as they cope with a real "Land of the Giant Insects."

I know I should be working on my Growing Up Canadian series, but this came to me as I was driving home from the beach. I LOL'd, although it doesn't take much to keep me amused. I hope you get a laugh or two out of it.

A New Career Story
John Wilson, a former SEAL, received a strange note and a ring in the mail. He slipped the ring on and couldn't get it off. This time, John Wilson wakes up in Texas in 1877, part of a wagon train that had just lost a battle with Comanches. Join him as he uses nothing but his intelligence and his nimble brain to survive and eventually become a family man. He takes several jobs, from Army scout to bounty hunter, as he lives through these troubled times. This is a stand-alone story.

A New Career Story
This time John Wilson fights Bushwhackers in Missouri before he fights Indians farther south in Texas. He has two wives, but not at the same time. He even picks up a sidekick and some war dogs. Yes, this is an exciting life for John. He also gets a visit from his benefactors. Find out some of the why for John's multiple lives.

Our hero wakes one morning to discover that his life is about to change in ways he could never imagine. A little 1950's time travel fun I wrote a couple of years back.

A scientific colony on the moon is forced to watch as aliens kill every living thing on Earth. This is the story of the revenge taken by the humans and their allies. This is a pure space opera with lots of aliens and battles in space. I hope you like it. No overt sex, though they sometimes talk about it.
