Military Stories

This is a story about a man who gave everything and had everything taken from him. It's a bit darker than my usual stuff. I put it in the romance category because of the ending. Unfortunately, this sort of thing happens so much to our soldiers, marines, sailors, and airmen when they're deployed. As I said in my blog post, this is partially based on reality.

Charlie was a special operator. Not the kind you hear about on TV, but one of the Air Force's offerings. Jacks of all trades, and Masters of each and every one of them, the members of the Para Rescue teams of the USAF are all that AND all the bags of chips. ** I left this story in one large piece, sorry, but I didn't see a need to break it into chapters since it seemed to defy the attempt. This is a story set in the future, the world has been flooded following a nuclear/chemical war. In the remains of the British Bunker a Scout is held in cryogenic suspension, waiting for the time when he can emerge and fight for his country. or so they thought.
