Join a young man who only feels he has a job and tries to do it well, then finds out it leads to real friends and maybe caring and love too. The setting is S E France, the action mostly in Europe, that changes eventually also.

This is an expanded version of my short story "The Jornal" due to reader feedback.

This story is a fictional account of Washington before the revolutionary war. I tried to use as many factual items as I could. This was an idea I got from reading all the facts and certain behaviors (sexually) of Washington and his wife.
