Girl Friday wrote a story for my birthday, 'Modern Day Fairy Tale'. You can read it here on StoriesOnline. It is a lovely story and others felt so too because it was voted the winner of a Silver Clit for March. I wondered what it would be like to see things from another point of view and this is the result.
Losing a loved one to an illness you can't fight is rough. Darkness sets in. People share advice. 'Time heals all', and 'it's always darkest just before the dawn'. Charlie lost Allie. Natalie lost her, too. They found each other and saw the sun rise. When they found Allison, another Allie, in a quirk of fate, there might as well have been two suns. For Charlie, there truly was a Dawn Beyond the Darkness.
This is a side story to the serial The Pool Girl. This takes place during chapter one and focuses on the relationship between Melissa and Lavi before Lavi is introduced into the serial and is the first story not told from Robert's perspective as it focuses on the relationship between Lavi and Melissa during an early part of the story.
Keira had a crush on her new step-brother Hugh, but like many a horny fourteen-year-old, she had crushes on a few other boys too. But then Hugh proved himself to be far more than just one of the boys.
George had admired the cute and effervescent young girl who lived across from him in a mildly lecherous way for some time. When the opportunity arose for him to introduce himself, and maybe help her out, he jumped at it eagerly.
Horace has trouble with his wife, his mother-in-law, and an older brother. There is a female friend who is there for him. He helps her when he goes to see her when her world came crashing down leaving her a pregnant widow. It takes several years to sort out. He finds he just needed to assert himself to make it happen. Typical happyhugo story with children
