“You’re pregnant?” I said, shocked.

“Just found out this morning.” Zoe said.

“Congratulations?” I said, confused.

“Thanks?” She said nervously. “It wasn’t exactly planned.”

“What does that mean?”

“Well ... There is a small chance that you...” Her voice trailed off.

“There is no chance I’m the father.” I whispered to her.

“How can you be sure?”

“I never once came inside you.”

“Come on, you’re a nurse. You know it can happen without ejaculation. The little guys can swim.”

After taking the blood he said that he would give her a call when he gets the results.
