Well now, in my last blog I said I didn't know where this was going. It is no longer just a vehicle for Jake to be a hero, because Fitz is also present, and let's be honest there are some really good girls. Obviously Bea and Hermione, Susan and Myrtle and now we have Angelica and we mustn't forget Totty or Susie with Victoria trying, not always successfully, to be the matriarch.
So, as an elderly ADHD survivor (we didn't have this diagnosis when I was a lad so I was just a naughty boy, and PTSD? didn't exist and if you were dyslexic you were clearly just thick, everyone can read. My daughter is a 'high performing dyslexic' but being left handed you'd obviously expect genius, ahem, like me) who is creative (I do lots of things other that write, no, no I'm not claiming to be clever, I just do things) I naturally survive on praise. And no one has provided any recently and why on earth should they? But... there's always a but... the score on this particular piece of prose has just gone up (1/100th, but nevertheless). And I really wish that the helo that is currently overhead would piss off.
And so, with that slightest smidgeon of encouragement I have sorted my brain cell out and (insert fanfare please) and decided to wander on and try to make the story as interesting, exciting, and fun as possible. So this saga will wander on, just, as ever, slowly.
I suggest that every time a new chapter arrives you enjoy the whole saga once again plus the update, and get even more pleasure.
As ever, if you read a story vote, every author deserves it and it doesn't cost you anything.

I'm not sure where this is going, I seem to enjoy it so I just hope everyone else does

Yet another chapter in the exploits of Jake and his merry crew - my word you are being spoiled. The reason for this is partly that it is winter and I don't feel like doing much, I also had a fall and tried to tear the muscle that joins the top part of my leg to the bottom part (technical terms I'm afraid) And, even better, we now have Sam, a delightful young mum who is maintaining the garden and devloping it as I design, so I am able to go back to doing what I do best, that is waving my arms about and saying 'put it there'. No rude comments please.
There is another chapter in the queue (42) and I am working my way through another (43). In all of this I look after Her Loveliness, very necessary because she has the driving licence and they don't let the blind (me, almost) drive. Most unreasonable. So enjoy, or else.

Oh dear oh dear. I added in a quite necessary character (Farquarson) without a proper intro. So I've added him to the passenger list and republished. I haven't said more because if you haven't read it I don't want to spoil it and if you have, well, you'll know.
40 is coming along, all I'll say about it is that you'll have to open that little drawer at the back of your computer to empty the bodies out
It's over a year since I wrote anything. Life seems to have intervened but then this idea occured to me and I enjoyed it as I started, just something small... like, girl has dog, introduces sister to same, mother walks in and says she'd like grandkids but she'll settle for a puppy. Well it didn't work out like that and I really don't know where it all came from. But there it is, as ever the narrative has gone off on a tangent all by itself and I just had to follow on.
