So, I had this idea for a story. I started it, liked the way it was going. Then I thought it was lacking in ‘the reasons’ department. A genesis was needed. And it needed to be fairly sensible, fairly plausible.
So I started on what I suppose is technically a prologue. And it was written. But I was missing the ‘bridge’ between the two. So I posted the first part until such times as I figured out how to get the square peg in the round hole.
It would also allow some time for feedback and comments that I could use to polish the first part before submission of the second.
Yeah, that went well.
Part of that, no doubt, is the ‘vagueness’ of the blurb and the existence of the ‘no sex’ tag. Both doing me no favours whatsoever. Anyway, ‘twas done.
I had a good, productive day today and the square peg was hammered (with a fair degree of violence) into the round hole. So, for the fifteen of you who libraried the first part, hopefully, with a bit of polish, the second part will be submitted, sometime, this week.
Since ‘part two’ had already been written, turnaround is fast. Part three is not written, so, if you are in a hurry/impatient, you are going to be disappointed…. Just a heads up.
