So I appreciate all the feedback that I got. There were a couple of comments that hit me pretty deep in the feels. With all the votes tallied, it was a 10 to 1 result in favor of book 3. So I've come to a conclusion on what I'm going to do once this book is done.

Taking y'alls input, the input of my editors, and how I feel. Book 3 will be my primary focus. That being said, the new story idea occupies a good bit of my mind from time to time. So to take a break every now and then I'm going work on the new story occasionally.

So, there's another issue that flared up last week that'll affect the new book and my life in general. I was informed at work that my position was being eliminated. As such I was offered a demotion and pay cut or a severance. This was due to no fault of my own. I dusted of the old resume and will start job hunting in the next week.

This will put a bit of a damper on the time that I have to write. So starting book 3 may take a little while.

Book 2 only has two more chapters left. The next one is taking a bit longer than expected. It seems to be the longest chapter yet. My goal is to have it up by the end of the month.

So A New Beginning Book 2 will be wrapping up in the next few chapters. While I've been writing the idea for a new book has popped into my head. I've been fleshing it out little by little as time has gone by.

So the input I need from y'all is which to write next. The third book of A New Beginning or start the new story which is unnamed as of now.

If you guys want to send me a message saying new or continue that will help me out.

So the next chapter is getting it's finishing touches and should be done soon. Work has begun on the subsequent chapter. I know y'all are looking forward to the boxing tournament. I hope what is in the works won't disappoint.

I'm off to the land of "everything's bigger in Texas" for some much needed R&R.
