Understand that this is an honest question and not a critique:

What is the satisfaction someone derives from posting a story tagged 'AI Generated'?

I spend hours creating, writing, editing and proofing my stories. Most have five or more proof readers/editors weeding out errors and making suggestions. Ditto this for the many stories I proof read.

I'm, along with Zen Master, currently proof reading a new (better than excellent) Swarm story by a new-to-Swarm author - writing in English - not his native tongue. Look for a story titled Be Prepared by Han Jansz. van Meegeren - chapter one now on SOL. The rating seems low to me, but then I'm several chapters into the story...

Anyway, back to the question. I'm not seeing much interest in such AI generated stories. I appreciate the honesty in labeling, and I can understand using tools (such as the long-existing spell check) to hone stories, but not posting something I didn't create and put a lot of effort into. Again, looking at download statistics and scores, I'm not seeing what the value is to readers either. Frankly, maybe I'm off base, but I'd rather read something someone has invested effort into. To do otherwise feels like drinking alcohol-free beer.

Thoughts?

And Swarm fans, Be Prepared, is worth the read,
