Steffi and Jeff were over at Pete and Alison’s along with four other friends of Jeff’s. The basketball quarterfinals were on Pete’s giant flat-screen.
“This is so boring,” Steffi whispered to Jeff.
Jeff’s eyes were glued to the TV. Duke was down by three, ten to go.
“Can’t you do something to liven it up?” Steffi pouted.
“Like what?”
Down by five.
The Duke point guard put up a three.
“Brick,” Jeff grumbled.
“I don’t know,” Steffi said. “Like maybe throw a brick through the TV.”
Jeff scoffed.
Down by seven.
“Shit,” Jeff said.
“Or what if I take off my top?”
“Huh?” said Jeff. His eyes leaned to Steffi.
“That got your attention, huh?”
Duke called time-out.
“Anyone need more beer?” Pete offered.
“Not me,” Jeff said.
“I gotta pee,” Steffi whispered.
Duke couldn’t get the ball in.
“Shit,” said Jeff.
“Can you show me where it is?” Steffi asked. She had a naughty look in her eye.
“Oh, sure,” Jeff said. “Be right back,” he told the crowd.
Inside the bathroom, Steffi said, “Lock the door.”
“There is no lock,” Jeff said.
“Oh. Then I guess you’ll just have to stand guard.”
“Huh?”
“It’s a basketball term,” Steffi continued, lifting the colorful wrap over her head, “Or ... you could fuck me up against the door.” She skipped off her shoes and shucked down her pants. “Except I do have to pee.” And she shed her bra and panties as she made her way to the toilet at the far end of the little bathroom. She sat on the toilet.
