After having roomed together in the dorm for two years, Imper and Amanda went in on a new apartment.
“So much space!” Imper exclaimed.
“Yeah, I guess we’d better get some furniture,” Amanda replied.
The two girls set off to shop. The mirror and the coffee table barely fit in the back of Imper’s Miata. Amanda held the potted plant on her lap along with a bottle of wine.
“Well, it’s a start,” Amanda said. They sat on the soft rug admiring their new purchases.
“How high should we hang the mirror?” Imper asked.
“High enough so we can admire ourselves when we kiss,” Amanda said.
Imper giggled. They opened the wine and passed the bottle back and forth.
Amanda placed the potted plant on the coffee table under the mirror. “Isn’t it beautiful?” she said.
Imper agreed. “And what should we put in the coffee table drawer?”
Amanda thought for a moment. “Candles, in case the power goes out, or if we need more than fingers and tongues when we make love.”
“Good thinking,” Imper said.
“And condoms,” Amanda added, “in case any cute boys come over for a fuck and we don’t know where there dicks have been.”
Imper laughed. “You’re so practical.”
The girls shared some more wine and tried out the mirror. Undressing, kissing, blissing.
