The SOL Adpocalypse and a New Novel

Posted at

The good news is my latest novel left preorder last week and is available at zBookstore. The bad news is the twenty-two chapters for “Runner’s Prize” were originally scheduled for free release beginning this week, but that won’t be happening until May.

In a nutshell, the recent changes to posting policy on SOL affect all my future content. Should a story include an advertisement for purchase of the complete work on zBookstore and is auto-uploaded, it will be penalized, having to compete for limited launch slots and hence, be delayed. That means I cannot guarantee posts will arrive on schedule, especially given my tendency to have three or four concurrent releases. Competing for those limited slots is unfair to the other authors kind enough to share their hard work on SOL.

It’s not my place to discuss the reasons for this change; this is Lazeez’s decision. As site owner, he’s dealing with much larger issues while I’m only a tiny fish in a little pond at the edge of the internet, being bombarded by LLM-generated crap. (No, I refuse to use the marketing bro word “AI” for LLMs, which have been around for a long time.)

At the end of the day, I shall continue to skribble wirdz. The challenge remains how best to share them with others. My release schedule for completed works is now flattened and stretches into 2028.

As always, for more detailed discussions on this and other topics, contact me at The Yards.

Warmest hugs,

Ivey (continuing to fan the darkest, naughtiest of flames)

The Dog Days

...of summer, for those of you with kinkier leanings.

The heat is shimmering from the roads, and the haziest of blue hugs every treeline. Cicadas are calling in ever louder voices. Yep, with sweat trickling and stinging one’s eyes, it’s that luxurious part of summer. Can you tell I’m not a cold-weather person?

Well, no matter the outside temps at home, from wherever my wanderings take me, I’m continuing to move newer works through The Yards. No impact on SOL flow; those are locked in through early 2027, but rough drafts need polishing, and the muses continue to work their magic, ensuring even more steamy wirdz shall get skribbled by yours truly.

As far as the current content, it’s interesting that “Aiden’s Challenge” is not so popular here. The novel’s been flying off the internet shelves. Perhaps the chapter every two-week slot is turning readers away. Plus, that is a common lot for many a last book of a trilogy. Shrug.

On the other hand, both “Good Mommy” and “The Conqueror’s Rise” are doing well everywhere. Yippee. The latter’s spiritual successor, “Slutty Mommy,” is slated to launch next summer, and the main character is even, well, sluttier. “The Conqueror’s Leap” left the rough draft stage earlier this summer and should land on e-shelves later next year. Fingers crossed, since about a dozen other novels and novellas remain ahead of it in The Yards.

All of which means plenty of good stuff is on its way. Patience is a virtue, etcetera, etcetera.
As always, my warmest hugs to those of you providing kind words, leaving reviews and scores, plus purchasing works to fuel the muses’ bourbon addiction. You’re all amazing.

Ivey.

A Wonderful Summer

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

All of you are amazing. The Summer sale is going gangbusters. As a reminder, the fifty-percent price reduction ends 31 July.
Your generosity, plus the constant flow of kind words, has fueled the muses. While taking a break from novel-writing, I’ve not been resting on my laurels.

The rough drafts for four short stories, more strokers than anything, but with my trademark nuance and prose, are complete. They are the first tranche of sixteen comprising a new series, “House Slut Tales,” coming soon to SOL. Once all are published for free, a meaty anthology will be available for purchase.

Each and every one of you, whether through generous purchases, providing the loveliest feedback, or simply following my wird-skribbling travails, rock.

Humongous hugs and sneaky smooches.

Ivey.

For all my lovely readers, happy summer! Concurrent with discounts on my eBooks elsewhere throughout the month of July, the same 50% off sale will be occurring on zBookstore. Since, this is where little old me began this little traipse down the wird-skribbling path, I’m kicking off the sale early. It begins today.

As always, thanks to my supporters for making my tales available to such a wide variety of word-connoisseurs. Hugs to you all and stay safe this summer. Sunscreen, hydrate, and revel in the muggy heat.

First of the Thursday Releases

On sale since last fall, “Good Mommy,” another wonderful niche tale commissioned by a dear friend, is now available on SOL for free readers. Steamy, kinky, and taboo, plus a heck of a lot of fun to scribble, its twenty-eight chapters will be posted weekly.

While I realize the topic is not widely appreciated, for those of you who do, please enjoy. For those who do not, never fear, more diverse fare approacheth. So sayeth the muses, who may or may not be a bit tipsy.

Humongo-hugs to all my followers, supporters, and stealth readers.

Ivey
